On Wednesday, March 5, former Avon Lake High School standout Avery Orille’s college team lost in an NCAA Division II softball game

On Wednesday, March 5, former Avon Lake High School standout Avery Orille’s current college team, the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats, lost 10-6 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Grand Valley State Lakers.

The game took place at Legends Way Ballfields. This was their first matchup against the Lakers this season.

The Bobcats’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5 at 2:30 p.m. at Legends Way Ballfields against Edinboro Fighting Scots.
