Jackie Pengel, former Avon High School standout, played on Sunday, March 30 in NCAA Division I softball game

On Sunday, March 30, former Avon High School standout Jackie Pengel’s current college team, the Syracuse Orange, lost 10-9 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the North Carolina Tar Heels.

The game took place at Skytop Softball Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Tar Heels this season.

The Orange’s next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 3 p.m. at Shirley Clements Mewborn Field against Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
