Jackie Pengel, former Avon High School standout, played on Friday, Feb. 21 in NCAA Division I softball game

On Friday, Feb. 21, former Avon High School standout Jackie Pengel’s current college team, the Syracuse Orange, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Utah Valley Wolverines.

The game took place at Jack Turner Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Wolverines this season.

The Orange’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 3:30 p.m. at Jack Turner Softball Stadium against Georgia Bulldogs.
