On Wednesday, March 5, former Avon Lake High School standout Avery Orille’s college team lost in an NCAA Division II softball game

On Wednesday, March 5, former Avon Lake High School standout Avery Orille’s current college team, the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Edinboro Fighting Scots.

The game took place at Legends Way Ballfields. This was their first matchup against the Fighting Scots this season.

The Bobcats’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, March 6 at 9 a.m. at Legends Way Ballfields against Southwest Minnesota State Mustangs.
