On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Avon High School standout Jackie Pengel’s college team lost in an NCAA Division I softball game

On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Avon High School standout Jackie Pengel’s current college team, the Syracuse Orange, lost 3-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Georgia Bulldogs.

The game took place at Jack Turner Softball Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Orange’s next game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 27 at 5 p.m. at Delaware Softball Diamond against Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens.
