The City of Westlake is extending an invitation to the community to attend the 2024 Rain and Garden Show. Scheduled for this spring, the event will feature a variety of vendors and a dedicated kid zone. The Westlake Community Services Center is set to host the show.
According to a press release from Westlake, the Rain and Garden Show will take place on Saturday, April 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Westlake Community Services Center located at 28975 Hilliard Blvd.
Westlake's press release also reveals that the city has planned for more than 30 vendors, door prizes, and other attractions. A Kid Zone with a special guest, face painting, balloon clown, and contests will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free and open to all members of the public.
This year's theme is "Solar Eclipse," but according to another Westlake press release, it won't overshadow the rest of the Go Green activities planned for the day.
Vendors at the event will educate visitors on how to maintain a green and clean environment in Westlake as per another press release from Westlake.
