The Bay Village Tree Commission is set to host "Branching Out Together," a community gathering focusing on tree wellness and canopy conservation. This event will replace the regular Tree Commission meeting.

According to a Bay Village press release, the gathering will take place from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on March 12 in the Bay Village Police Department Community Room at 28000 Wolf Road. The event is open to the public, but seating may be limited. Attendees can expect light refreshments.

The same press release also states that attendees will have the opportunity to learn about proper tree care and preservation techniques, as well as ask questions about their specific tree-related issues.

The guest speakers for this event include Nick Dios, chairperson of the Bay Village Tree Commission. According to another Bay Village press release, Dios will share insights on how to choose a tree care company that suits your property's needs. Chadwick Clink from Bartlett Tree Experts will discuss best practices, oak wilt, and general tree care. Additionally, James Lassiter from Cleveland Metroparks will address community forestry.

For more information about this event, interested parties are advised to email Dave Robison at drobinson@cityofbayvillage.com, as per a Bay Village press release.
