He further added, "I am inspired by their collaborative dedication to action and to improving the outlook for the future."

The REACHing for New Heights plan outlines a three-year initiative that is supported by a $3.9 million grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The plan was co-created by young individuals with lived experiences of homelessness and professionals from different sectors. It focuses on eight goals including authentic youth leadership, equity, safe and stable housing, and continuous quality improvement. It also includes 12 objectives and 99 actionable steps aimed at ending youth and young adult homelessness in Cuyahoga County.

Melissa Sirak, from the Cuyahoga County Office of Homeless Services said in a press release from the county that "This plan represents the vision, perspectives and hopes of young people in Cuyahoga County, who led the effort to re-imagine a better system of support."

Christian Anderson, Chair of the REACH Youth Action Board also commented on this initiative in another press release from the county. He said: "These projects will help lead us to tomorrow. They will meet young adults where they are at, provide transitional housing to build skills, rapid rehousing to achieve financial, social-emotional well-being goals, as well as navigation support to connect to community resources."
