Rocky River Director of Planning and Community Development Kathryn Kerber | City of Rocky River
The City of Rocky River has appointed Kathryn Kerber as its new Director of Planning and Community Development. Mayor Pamela Bobst introduced Kerber to the city council.
Kerber previously served the city of Bay Village for six years in a planning role, according to minutes from the Rocky River City Council's January 8 meeting. During her tenure, she successfully secured external funding through grant writing for Bay Village.
According to the same meeting minutes, Kerber will collaborate with Director of Public Safety-Service Rich Snyder and others on grantsmanship. Additionally, she is expected to work closely with the chamber of commerce.
The minutes also revealed that Kerber holds a law degree and is fluent in German.
