The City of Cleveland has collaborated with ParkMobile to launch a digital parking solution in downtown Cleveland, according to a press release from Mayor Justin M. Bibb's office issued on Oct. 23.
Approximately 2,500 coin-based parking meters will be phased out as the city transitions into the uniform ParkMobile app-based parking system, according to a press release issued by Mayor Justin M. Bibb's Office on Oct. 23. This transition aligns with Bibb's vision to modernize operations throughout the City of Cleveland - improving efficiency and enforcement, according to the release.
"We are thrilled to partner with ParkMobile to introduce this advanced technology and provide both residents and visitors with a much-improved parking experience in our city," Bibb said, according to a press release issued by Mayor Justin M. Bibb's Office on Oct. 23.
Users can digitally pay for parking by entering the zone number posted nearby directly into the ParkMobile app or their mobile web browser. Even those downtown visitors without smartphones can use ParkMobile by calling the company's interactive voice response service, according to a press release issued by Mayor Justin M. Bibb's Office on Oct. 23.
