As part of its vision to serve as a valued resource for continuous improvement and community responsiveness, Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) now offers free online training for individuals seeking greater awareness and knowledge about LGBTQ+ topics.
First launched in 2004, Tri-C's Safe Zone Ally training program teaches participants how to create spaces in which all people across the spectrum of sexual orientation, gender identity and/or gender expression feel welcome and respected.

The new two-hour online training module is available on demand at tri-c.edu/safezone.

Topics include:

•    Vocabulary

•    Research and data supporting the need for Safe Zones

•    Integrating sexual orientation, gender identity and expression into curriculum

•    Available resources

•    Discussing LGBTQ+ topics with others

•    More

Visit tri-c.edu/safezone for more information.
