The question everyone is asking is "where are the workers"?
Every month in this country, over 4 million Americans have been leaving their jobs. Yes, that's each month, for the last six months; in almost every sector, from restaurants to factories. At the same time, the number of hires has managed to outpace resignations. That's a lot of "quits" and a lot of "churn". Employers in Summit County are reporting the same challenges. What the heck is going on?
Is this a short-term post-Covid adjustment?
Or a long-term trend?
What are employers saying and doing about it?
What are working adults saying about the workplace and what matters most?
How can we best merge this two lines of thinking?
ConxusNEO presented this topic to Connecting Women to Women in early 2022. As we continue to experience staffing issues and employee turnover, we have invited ConxusNEO back to speak to all of our Chamber members. For those that attended the first session as part of Women to Women please note that Michelle will be sharing additional research data affecting our workforce.
