Meet Csu C|M Law Student, Aba Consortium Member Katrice Williams

Meet Katrice Williams, the subject of our latest “Student Success Stories” video.

CSU’s Cleveland-Marshall College of Law represents the next step in Williams’ educational journey—one following dual master’s degrees in Social Administration and Nonprofit Organization from Case Western Reserve University, and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Stanford University.

Williams was recently named fellow with the American Bar Association’s Legal Education Police Practices Consortium, one of 39 individuals across the country who are doing deep dives into public data related to local and state law enforcement agencies.

The aim is to contribute to the ongoing national effort to examine and address legal issues in policing and public safety, “including conduct, oversight, and the evolving nature of police work.”

Williams has advocated for the rights of women and children through work with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and in work adjacent to her time at the Cleveland Foundation. In doing so, realized she could do more to create real change in a courtroom by earning her Juris Doctor at CSU C|M Law.
