Tri-C’s Women in Transition Program Offers In-Person and Online Summer Sessions

Register now for free multi-week course options

The Women in Transition program at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) will launch summer sessions of online and in-person classes to empower women in their pursuit of education, training and a career.

Six-week sessions begin on the following dates at the times and locations listed:

In-person classes

  • May 31 – July 7 | Tuesday through Thursday | 1-4 p.m. | Eastern Campus
  • May 31 – July 7 | Tuesday through Thursday | 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Western Campus
Online classes (via Webex)

  • May 31 – July 7 | Monday through Wednesday | 10 a.m. – noon
The program is also available as a five-week course (minus the Basic Computer class) at various community locations:

In-person classes

  • July 19 – Aug. 18 | Tuesday and Thursday | 1-3 p.m. | Olivet Access Center (8819 Quincy Ave.)
  • July 19 – Aug. 18 | Tuesday and Thursday | 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Rainbow Terrace (7310 Carson Ave.)
Online classes (via Webex)

  • Aug. 16 – Sept. 18 | Tuesday and Thursday | 1-3 p.m. | Esperanza Access Center (3104 W. 25th St.)
Participants can build confidence and skills through classes on personal development, career exploration and computer literacy. The course is designed to assist women in transitional periods of their lives, such as a career change or return to the workforce.

The noncredit program is free and open to the public. Visit tri-c.edu/women-in-transition to register for an upcoming course or learn more about the program. The last day to register for six-week sessions is May 24. The last day to register for five-week sessions is July 1.

Tri-C's Women in Transition program debuted in 1978 and has contributed to thousands of personal success stories across Northeast Ohio over the past four decades.
