Home prices increased in Olmsted Township during the fourth quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2021 in Olmsted Township rose by $4,000 while total sales decreased by 40.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2021, there were 26 homes sold, with a median sale price of $229,000 - a 1.8% increase over the $225,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 44 homes sold in Olmsted Township in the fourth quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Olmsted Township for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,974, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2021.
