Avon Lake home prices rose in the third quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Avon Lake rose by $80,100 while total sales decreased by 3.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were 126 homes sold, with a median sale price of $330,000 - a 32.1% increase over the $249,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 131 homes sold in Avon Lake in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Avon Lake for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $4,256, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
