Rising home prices in Lakewood in the second quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2021 in Lakewood rose by $42,500 while total sales remained unchanged with 219 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2021, there were 219 homes sold, with a median sale price of $240,000 - a 21.5% increase over the $197,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 219 homes sold in Lakewood in the second quarter of 2020, as well.

The median sales tax in Lakewood for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,988, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2021.
