Avon Lake home prices fell in the first quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2021 in Avon Lake fell by $25,000 while total sales decreased by 89.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2021, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $210,000 - a 10.6% decrease over the $235,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 97 homes sold in Avon Lake in the first quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Avon Lake for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $4,256, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2021.
