Pricing for the median home in Lakewood increased during 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in 2020 in Lakewood rose by $35,000 while total sales decreased by 20.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2020, there were 789 homes sold, with a median sale price of $215,000 - a 19.4% increase over the $180,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 996 homes sold in Lakewood in 2019.

The median sales tax in Lakewood for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,988, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for 2020.
