The second half of 2020: Home prices in Avon increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Avon rose by $28,400 while total sales decreased by 48.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 108 homes sold, with a median sale price of $328,400 - a 9.5% increase over the $300,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 210 homes sold in Avon in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Avon for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $4,799, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
