Median home prices in Elyria rose to $113,700 in the second half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Elyria rose by $22,200 while total sales decreased by 54.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 250 homes sold, with a median sale price of $113,700 - a 24.3% increase over the $91,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 547 homes sold in Elyria in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Elyria for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,844, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
