The second half of 2020: Home prices in Olmsted Township increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Olmsted Township rose by $24,000 while total sales increased by 5.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 79 homes sold, with a median sale price of $225,000 - a 11.9% increase over the $201,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 75 homes sold in Olmsted Township in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Olmsted Township for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,974, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
