The fourth quarter of 2020: Home prices in Avon increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2020 in Avon rose by $63,250 while total sales decreased by 76.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2020, there were 20 homes sold, with a median sale price of $358,750 - a 21.4% increase over the $295,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 84 homes sold in Avon in the fourth quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Avon for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $4,799, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2020.
