The fourth quarter of 2020: Home prices in Olmsted Township increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2020 in Olmsted Township rose by $44,500 while total sales increased by 115%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2020, there were 43 homes sold, with a median sale price of $225,000 - a 24.7% increase over the $180,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 20 homes sold in Olmsted Township in the fourth quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Olmsted Township for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,974, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2020.
