Rocky River home prices rise in the first half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2020 in Rocky River rose by $38,500 while total sales decreased by 45.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2020, there were 126 homes sold, with a median sale price of $263,500 - a 17.1% increase over the $225,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 231 homes sold in Rocky River in the first half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Rocky River for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $6,098, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2020.
