Berea home prices rise in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Berea rose by $12,500 while total sales increased by 43.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were 96 homes sold, with a median sale price of $119,500 - a 11.7% increase over the $107,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 67 homes sold in Berea in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Berea for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,572, approximately 3% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2017.
