Olmsted Township home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in Olmsted Township fell by $23,500 while total sales decreased by 31%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were 20 homes sold, with a median sale price of $180,500 - a 11.5% decrease over the $204,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 29 homes sold in Olmsted Township in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Olmsted Township for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,831, approximately 2.7% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2019.
