Bay Village home prices rise in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Bay Village rose by $24,275 while total sales decreased by 12.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 158 homes sold, with a median sale price of $253,900 - a 10.6% increase over the $229,625 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 180 homes sold in Bay Village in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Bay Village for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $6,699, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2018.
