Olmsted Township home prices rise in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Olmsted Township rose by $5,100 while total sales decreased by 5.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 75 homes sold, with a median sale price of $215,000 - a 2.4% increase over the $209,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 79 homes sold in Olmsted Township in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Olmsted Township for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,831, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2018.
